Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya etched his name into T20I history during the third match against South Africa on December 14, 2025, becoming the fourth player worldwide to achieve 1,000-plus runs, 100-plus sixes, and 100-plus wickets in the format. The milestone came when Pandya dismissed Tristan Stubbs, marking his 100th T20I wicket in 123 appearances at an average of 26.78. He also became the first fast-bowling all-rounder to reach the rare double of 1,000 runs and 100 wickets, a feat previously accomplished only by spin-bowling all-rounders.
Pandya now joins an elite group comprising Zimbabwe's Sikandar Raza, Afghanistan's Mohammad Nabi, and Malaysia's Virandeep Singh in the exclusive triple milestone club. With the bat, he has scored 1,939 runs at a strike rate of 141.53, including 101 sixes and six half-centuries. His economical spell of 1/23 in three overs contributed significantly to India's bowling effort, restricting South Africa to 117 and paving the way for a seven-wicket victory that gave the hosts a 2-1 series lead.
Following the achievement, Pandya's girlfriend, model and yoga enthusiast Mahieka Sharma, shared a heartfelt message on her Instagram story celebrating the landmark. The couple, who made their relationship public in October 2025 after Pandya's separation from former wife Natasa Stankovic, have frequently supported each other on social media.

Pandya's versatility has been instrumental in India's T20 successes, including the 2024 T20 World Cup triumph. As the third Indian bowler after Arshdeep Singh and Jasprit Bumrah to reach 100 T20I wickets, his continued form strengthens the team's balance ahead of future tournaments.
The series moves to Lucknow for the fourth T20I on December 17, where India will aim to build on this momentum. Pandya's all-round prowess remains a cornerstone of the side's strategy in the shortest format.
