Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami conducted an aerial survey of the rain-battered regions of Uttarkashi district on Sunday, as relentless downpours continued to wreak havoc, officials reported.
From the skies, Dhami closely inspected the flood-hit areas, directing officials to conduct thorough ground assessments and expedite ongoing relief and rescue operations. The heavy rains have triggered landslides and flooding, disrupting life across the district and leaving many residents in need of urgent assistance.
Addressing the crisis, the Chief Minister reassured affected communities, stating, “The state government stands shoulder-to-shoulder with every person impacted by this disaster. We are working tirelessly to ensure timely aid reaches those in need.”
