Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu delivered a resolute commitment to eradicating rowdyism and all forms of anti-social activities across Andhra Pradesh during the formal inauguration of the newly constructed district police office in Tirupati, unequivocally stating that individuals engaging in criminal conduct would face uncompromising legal consequences irrespective of any political connections or affiliations they might claim.
Naidu issued explicit directives to law enforcement personnel to leverage cutting-edge technological tools, including extensive drone-based surveillance systems, to preempt and combat criminal activities effectively, with particular emphasis on maintaining impeccable security arrangements and safeguarding the spiritual sanctity of Tirumala ahead of the anticipated heavy influx of devotees for the upcoming Vaikunta Ekadasi festival.
In a stern admonition, the Chief Minister cautioned that rowdy elements attempting to shield themselves behind political patronage would encounter drastic measures, potentially including permanent expulsion from the state, while extending the government's firm resolve to counter individuals orchestrating defamatory campaigns or disseminating malicious falsehoods through social media platforms solely for partisan advantage.

Drawing a sharp contrast with the preceding administration from 2019 to 2024, which he criticized for permitting a marked decline in law and order and causing distress to the religious sentiments of pilgrims in Tirumala and Tirupati, Naidu commended the Tirupati police force for notable successes in suppressing illicit drug trafficking involving ganja, curbing red sandalwood smuggling operations, and implementing stringent mechanisms such as suspect sheets and the Preventive Detention Act against habitual offenders.
Joined by Home Minister Vangalapudi Anitha, senior police officials including Director General of Police Harish Gupta, and other dignitaries at the ceremony, Naidu subsequently proceeded to the residence of Tirupati District Telugu Desam Party Media Coordinator Sridhar Varma to extend personal condolences and pay respects following the recent passing of his father, underscoring the administration's broader dedication to fostering an environment of lasting peace and security essential for sustained economic growth and investment attraction.
