Vivo has expanded its Y series portfolio in India with the launch of the Vivo Y21 5G and Vivo Y11 5G smartphones. Unveiled on Wednesday, both handsets are designed to offer affordable 5G connectivity with large batteries and enhanced performance. The devices will be available for purchase through the Vivo India online store, as well as selected offline retail outlets across the country.
The Vivo Y21 5G comes in three RAM and storage configurations: 4GB+128GB priced at Rs. 18,999, 6GB+128GB at Rs. 20,999, and 8GB+128GB at Rs. 22,999. Vivo is also offering an instant cashback of up to Rs. 1,500 on select bank cards. The Vivo Y11 5G, on the other hand, will be available in two configurations: 4GB+64GB for Rs. 14,999 and 4GB+128GB for Rs. 16,999, with a cashback of up to Rs. 1,000. Both models are offered in multiple color options: Champagne Gold and Midnight Blue for the Y21 5G, and Midnight Blue and Sunrise Gold for the Y11 5G.
Both smartphones feature 6,500mAh batteries, with the Y21 5G supporting 44W fast charging and the Y11 5G supporting 15W wired charging. They run Vivo’s OriginOS 6 based on Android 16 and offer dual SIM support. The devices come with 6.74-inch HD+ LCD displays with up to 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,200 nits. Vivo has also certified the screens with TÜV Rheinland Low Blue Light protection. Additionally, the handsets carry an IP65 rating for dust and water resistance and SGS-certified Military Grade Shock Resistance.

Under the hood, both phones are powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 octa-core chipset, which features six efficiency cores clocked at 2.0GHz and two performance cores at 2.4GHz. The Y21 5G offers up to 8GB of RAM, while the Y11 5G comes with up to 4GB, and both devices provide up to 128GB of internal storage. Connectivity options include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB Type-C, and GPS. Security features include side-mounted fingerprint scanners.
In terms of photography, the Vivo Y21 5G sports a 50-megapixel primary rear camera paired with a QVGA secondary sensor, while the Y11 5G comes with a 13-megapixel main rear camera and a similar secondary shooter. Both models feature a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calls, along with camera modes such as Night, Portrait, Pro, Time-lapse, and Live Photo.
With these launches, Vivo aims to strengthen its presence in the mid-range 5G smartphone segment in India, offering a balance of battery life, performance, and display features. Both devices are now on sale via Flipkart and the Vivo India online store, targeting consumers looking for budget-friendly 5G devices with modern features.
