India Champions will face England Champions in their second match of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) 2026 on Sunday, October 4. India enter the contest with confidence after opening their campaign with a 46-run victory over Australia Champions in Sharjah, while England Champions are set to begin their tournament with the fixture.

The two teams have met once previously in the World Championship of Legends. England Champions won that encounter by 23 runs at Headingley in Leeds during the 2025 edition. England posted 223/3, with Ravi Bopara producing an unbeaten 110 from 55 deliveries, before India finished on 200/8 in their chase.

India Champions will look to carry the momentum from their opening victory into Sunday's contest. They made 196/7 against Australia, with Yuvraj Singh contributing 71 from 44 balls and Rishi Dhawan adding an unbeaten 35 off 12 deliveries. Australia were dismissed for 150 in 16.2 overs, with Dhawal Kulkarni taking four wickets and Mohit Sharma claiming three.
The Indian side includes several experienced former internationals, with Yuvraj Singh, Yusuf Pathan and Harbhajan Singh among the players expected to play important roles.
