Indian fast bowler Arshdeep Singh has sparked fresh speculation about his personal life after interacting with Punjabi actress and model Samreen Kaur on social media. The exchange quickly gained attention among fans, with many interpreting it as another sign of the pair's rumoured relationship. While neither Arshdeep nor Samreen has publicly addressed the speculation, their latest Instagram interaction has gone viral, generating widespread discussion across social media platforms.
The buzz began after Samreen Kaur shared a short video on Instagram. Arshdeep responded in the comments with a bear emoji and a red heart emoji. Samreen replied with a red heart and a lock emoji, prompting fans to flood the comments section with reactions and relationship speculation. Despite the online excitement, there has been no official confirmation from either Arshdeep or Samreen regarding the nature of their relationship.
Away from social media, Arshdeep continues to focus on his cricketing career. The left-arm pacer most recently represented India during the white-ball tour of England, where he finished as India's leading wicket-taker in the T20 International series. However, his ODI outing proved less successful, as he featured in only one match and returned figures of 0 for 72, highlighting a contrasting run of form between the two limited-overs formats.

The 27-year-old has also earned a place in the North Zone squad for the upcoming Duleep Trophy, scheduled to begin on August 23. Jammu and Kashmir wicketkeeper-batter Kanhaiya Wadhawan has been appointed captain of the 15-member squad, with Delhi's Ayush Badoni named vice-captain. Arshdeep's inclusion comes after he was part of India's Test squad during the 2025 tour of England but was unable to make his debut because of injury and team combination considerations.
The North Zone squad features strong representation from the reigning Ranji Trophy champions Jammu and Kashmir. Alongside Wadhawan, opener Qamran Iqbal, all-rounder Abdul Samad, spinner Abid Mushtaq, and pacers Sunil Kumar and Yudhvir Singh have been selected. Haryana pacer Anshul Kamboj, who was also left out of India's Test plans, has been included, while experienced Jammu and Kashmir batter Paras Dogra has not been considered as selectors opted to focus on emerging talent.
With the domestic season approaching, the Duleep Trophy presents another opportunity for Arshdeep Singh to strengthen his credentials across formats and push for a place in India's Test setup. While his social media interaction with Samreen Kaur continues to attract public attention, the upcoming tournament will provide the fast bowler with an important platform to showcase his abilities and revive his red-ball ambitions.
