Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Gayaji district in Bihar on August 22, 2025, to launch a series of high-profile development projects and address a massive public rally, Deputy Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary announced on Wednesday. The visit, coming just months before the Bihar assembly elections later this year, underscores the BJP’s push to bolster its presence in the state with a focus on transformative infrastructure and public engagement.
Choudhary, who also serves as Bihar’s Finance Minister, recently inspected preparations for the PM’s visit in Gayaji. In a post on X, he shared the exciting news: “Bringing the gift of development, Modi ji is coming to Bihar again.” The highlight of the visit will be the inauguration and foundation-laying ceremony for projects worth approximately Rs 1,200 crore, including Bihar’s first six-lane bridge over the Ganga River, a landmark infrastructure initiative aimed at enhancing connectivity and economic growth in the region.
The PM’s rally in Gayaji is expected to draw large crowds, with Choudhary urging residents to attend and hear “the country’s most popular leader.” The event is seen as a strategic move to energize voters and showcase the central government’s commitment to Bihar’s development ahead of the crucial polls.
