In a bold statement following India’s successful Operation Sindoor, BJP MP and national spokesperson Sudhanshu Trivedi declared that the mission not only dismantled terror infrastructure in Pakistan but also exposed the failure of Chinese-made weaponry used by Pakistan.
Speaking at a national seminar in Chennai, Trivedi said that the counter-terror operation in May dealt a double blow—crippling enemy camps while dealing a significant reputational hit to Chinese defence technology.
“Operation Sindoor hit Pakistan, but its shockwaves reached China, whose weapons were proven ineffective in real combat,” Trivedi said. He pointed out that Pakistan’s use of Chinese-made JF-17 fighter jets and PL-15 missiles failed to deliver results, leading to a 9% dip in defence stocks of Chinese manufacturers like Avic Systems Chengdu.

In contrast, India’s indigenous defence sector saw a surge in confidence. Stocks of companies like Hindustan Aeronautics and Garden Reach Shipbuilders jumped sharply, driven by the success of Made-in-India military hardware used during the operation.
Trivedi emphasized that the world is witnessing a shift in defence dynamics, with India emerging as a key player. Highlighting recent international collaborations like Dassault Aviation’s partnership with Tata Defence, he noted that global defence giants now see India as a reliable manufacturing hub.
He also called "Viksit Bharat" a 25-year mission that will shape India’s destiny for the next 1,000 years, echoing Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s long-term vision for a developed and self-reliant India.
Trivedi’s remarks come amid rising global attention to India’s growing defence capabilities and its increasingly prominent role on the geopolitical stage.
