The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) will announce the results for the CA Foundation Examination and CA Intermediate Examination conducted in January 2026 on March 8. Candidates who appeared for the exams will be able to access their results online through the official websites — ICAI Official Website at icai.nic.in and ICAI Exam Portal. The announcement will mark the completion of the evaluation process for thousands of students who took the examinations earlier this year.
According to the institute, candidates will be able to check their results by logging into the official portal using their registration number and roll number. Both credentials must be entered correctly in order to access the result page and download the digital scorecard. The ICAI has advised students to keep their login details ready and monitor the official websites regularly for updates as the result declaration time approaches.
Along with the results, the institute is expected to release important information such as pass percentages and details of top-performing candidates. The ICAI typically publishes a merit list that highlights candidates who secure the highest ranks at the all-India level. This list provides insight into the overall performance of students across the country in one of the most competitive professional accounting examinations.

The institute has clarified that it will not issue a separate pass certificate for candidates who clear the examinations. However, those who secure a minimum of 60 percent marks in aggregate will receive a rank certificate indicating their position in the all-India ranking. Rank certificates are issued to candidates securing ranks up to the 20th position on an all-India basis.
In addition to the online scorecard, the statement of marks will also be sent to candidates by post after the declaration of results. If a candidate does not receive the physical statement within five weeks from the result announcement date, they can contact the ICAI examination authorities through the designated email provided by the institute.
The January 2026 results follow the earlier announcement of the CA Final Examination results by ICAI. With the Foundation and Intermediate results scheduled for release on March 8, students across the country are awaiting the outcome that will determine their next step in the Chartered Accountancy qualification process.
