Bollywood star Tamannaah Bhatia captivated audiences as the showstopper for Rahul Mishra’s “Becoming Love” collection on the opening day of India Couture Week 2025, held at the Taj Palace hotel. Presented by Hyundai India and Reliance Brands, the event showcased Mishra’s latest designs, evolving his Paris Haute Couture Week theme into an intimate, earthly narrative inspired by Sufi mysticism, Gustav Klimt’s art, and the seven stages of love.

The collection featured intricately embroidered gowns and lehengas with vibrant floral motifs on sheer and structured fabrics, blending soft pastels and rich jewel tones like emerald and magenta.

Tamannaah dazzled in two outfits: a form-fitting gown with a blooming garden of red, purple, and blue embroidery, and a lehenga set with a sequined halter blouse and gradient skirt adorned with abstract patterns. “Rahul’s designs never overwhelm the wearer, letting their personality shine,” she told PTI, praising the avant-garde yet personal touch.

Mishra described the collection as a transformative journey of love, evolving from attraction to eternal memory. The India Couture Week runs until July 30.
