Meta CEO Mark Zuckerberg has shared an ambitious vision for the future of artificial intelligence, focusing on “personal superintelligence” designed to empower individuals worldwide. In an open letter released on July 31, 2025, Zuckerberg highlighted the critical importance of this decade in shaping the path AI superintelligence will take.
While refraining from detailing specific products or immediate launches, Zuckerberg emphasized that Meta’s approach goes beyond automation or efficiency. Instead, the company aims to develop AI that helps users achieve personal goals, create meaningful experiences, and enhance their relationships.
“As profound as the abundance produced by AI may one day be, an even more meaningful impact will likely come from everyone having a personal superintelligence that helps you achieve your goals, create what you want to see in the world, experience any adventure, be a better friend to those you care about, and grow to become the person you aspire to be,” Zuckerberg stated.

Meta’s vision centers on placing this transformative power directly in people’s hands, enabling them to direct AI towards what matters most in their lives. Zuckerberg underscored that the company’s focus remains at the “intersection of technology and how people live,” a dynamic expected to grow increasingly significant in the coming years.
The CEO acknowledged that this represents a pivotal moment in human history, continuing a trajectory of progress shaped by centuries of innovation. Meta is committed to building the necessary infrastructure and delivering this new technology across its suite of products, aiming to reach billions of users globally.
“Meta believes strongly in building personal superintelligence that empowers everyone. We have the resources and the expertise to build the massive infrastructure required, and the capability and will to deliver new technology to billions of people across our products,” Zuckerberg concluded.
