New CCTV footage accessed by NDTV has shed fresh light on the high-speed Lamborghini crash in Kanpur, showing a group of bouncers rushing to extract and protect the car’s occupant moments after the accident. The incident, which occurred nearly two days ago in an upscale part of the city, involved a luxury Lamborghini Revuelto that ploughed into pedestrians and rammed several vehicles, triggering widespread outrage and scrutiny.
According to multiple eyewitness accounts and videos from the scene, Shivam Mishra, son of tobacco tycoon K.K. Mishra, was behind the wheel of the Rs 10-crore supercar at the time of the crash. However, Mishra’s lawyer has disputed this claim, stating that the vehicle was being driven by a chauffeur named Mohan. “This is an accident case. Shivam was not driving, so there can be no case against him,” advocate Mrityunjay Kumar said.
The newly surfaced CCTV footage shows a black SUV pulling over close to the crash site, with its doors opening even before the vehicle comes to a complete halt. At least five bouncers are seen jumping out and sprinting towards the Lamborghini, indicating a coordinated response. The footage suggests the security personnel were prepared to intervene immediately after the crash.

Another video from the scene shows a bouncer physically pulling Shivam Mishra out of the damaged Lamborghini and carrying him away, as bystanders record the incident and urge others to keep filming. Police sources said the crash occurred around 2 pm on Sunday afternoon, and several pedestrians narrowly escaped more serious injuries.
Initially, a First Information Report (FIR) was registered against “unknown persons”. Shivam Mishra’s name was added a day later as investigators reviewed CCTV footage and witness statements. Kanpur Police Commissioner Raghubir Lal said Mishra failed to follow due legal procedure after the accident, calling the lapse an act of negligence. Authorities have said further investigation is underway to determine responsibility and establish who was driving the vehicle at the time of the crash.
