A weary Pakistani Prime Minister probably went to bed with a prayer tonight, only to be woken shortly about India's surgical strikes across the nation.
The Indian Armed Forces, in a blistering move tonight, launched a series of targeted surgical strikes code named Operation Sindoor. They focused on hitting nine specific locations in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK). These sites were believed to be instrumental in planning and directing attacks on India.
Huge explosions were heard and missile fire lit up the darkness as some of the first footage from one of tonight’s strikes by the Indian Air Force against a terrorist site near Bahawalpur, Pakistan appeared on X.

Initial reports suggest that the Indian Military targeted a mosque in Bahawalpur linked to Maulana Masood Azhar, the founder and leader of Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM), an Islamist terrorist group primarily active in Indian Kashmir.
It is also reliably learnt that Indian forces struck a site in Muridke, the known global headquarters of the terrorist group Lashar-e-Taiba (LeT).
This is a breaking news story and will be updated shortly.
