Iran has claimed it possesses “conclusive evidence” suggesting that certain regional countries were involved in or supported recent US-Israel military operations targeting Tehran, escalating already heightened tensions in West Asia. The statement was made by Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Esmail Baghaei, who warned that Tehran may pursue legal and diplomatic action against the states it believes were involved.
According to Baghaei, Iranian authorities have gathered evidence indicating the participation of unnamed regional countries in what Tehran has described as an act of aggression. However, he did not specify which nations are being accused or disclose the nature of the evidence, stating only that Iran would respond through “all necessary means,” including international legal channels.
The allegations come amid ongoing friction between Iran, the United States, and Israel, following a series of military strikes and retaliatory actions in the region. Iran has consistently accused both Washington and Tel Aviv of undermining its security, while regional governments have largely maintained public silence over the latest claims, as diplomatic sensitivities remain high.

Following the reported US-Israeli operations, Iran carried out retaliatory strikes targeting what it described as US-linked assets in the region. Iranian officials have maintained that these actions were directed at American military installations and interests rather than neighbouring states, framing them as defensive responses to earlier attacks on Iranian territory.
The latest remarks from Tehran are expected to further strain regional diplomatic relations at a time of heightened geopolitical uncertainty. Concerns are growing over the potential impact of the confrontation on broader regional stability, including energy supply routes and security dynamics across West Asia. While no official responses have yet been issued by the countries allegedly implicated, analysts suggest the accusations could deepen existing divisions and complicate ongoing efforts to de-escalate tensions in the region.
