Actor Manisha Koirala continues to draw attention for her commitment to fitness and an active lifestyle at the age of 56. The actor recently shared a glimpse of an intense upper-body workout session on social media, showing a series of exercises focused on building strength and endurance. Her routine included several movements targeting the back, arms and shoulders.
Manisha began the workout with lat pulldowns, an exercise that primarily works the latissimus dorsi muscles in the back. In the video, she used an overhand grip and pulled the bar towards her upper chest while driving her elbows down and back. The exercise is commonly used in strength-training routines to develop back strength and support upper-body movement.
She then moved on to cable bicep curls, which work the biceps along with supporting muscles in the arms and forearms. The use of a cable machine provides relatively consistent resistance throughout the movement, keeping the muscles engaged during both the lifting and lowering phases. Manisha also performed overhead tricep extensions as part of the session.

The actor continued with dumbbell bicep curls before moving to lateral raises, which target the shoulder muscles. The combination of exercises gave the workout a broad upper-body focus rather than concentrating on a single muscle group. Her session showed a mix of cable, dumbbell and bodyweight-assisted exercises performed as part of a structured strength routine.
Manisha was also seen performing assisted pull-ups, another exercise that engages the back and arms while requiring upper-body strength and control. Pull-up variations can be challenging because they involve multiple muscle groups working together to move the body. The assisted version allows resistance to be reduced while maintaining the movement pattern of a conventional pull-up.
The workout comes as Manisha continues to share glimpses of her fitness routine and active lifestyle with her followers. Her session included movements for the back, biceps, triceps and shoulders, highlighting the importance of varied exercises in an upper-body strength workout. The video also offered followers a look at the actor’s approach to maintaining strength and endurance through regular training.
