Amitabh Bachchan, 83, has spoken about the difficulty of getting adequate sleep while managing a demanding shooting schedule for Kaun Banega Crorepati Season 18. The veteran actor recently wrote about his routine and the challenge of finding enough time to rest amid his professional commitments.
In a recent blog post, Amitabh reflected on the importance of proper sleep and described it as the body's “best repair mechanism”. He also acknowledged that his busy schedule often makes it difficult to maintain sufficient rest. The actor said he was attempting to retire early so he could wake up in time for work the following morning.
Amitabh's comments come shortly after he sustained a knee injury while filming KBC 18. During a recent episode, he remained seated for his opening monologue instead of standing at the centre of the stage as he normally does. He explained that he had slipped and fallen during the previous day's shoot, leaving him with an injured knee and difficulty standing for extended periods.

The injury has not stopped the veteran actor from continuing his professional commitments. Kaun Banega Crorepati features contestants answering multiple-choice questions, with participants required to select the correct answer from four options. The programme also provides contestants with a series of lifelines that can be used when they are uncertain about an answer.
Amitabh continues to balance his television work with his film commitments. He was last seen on the big screen in T J Gnanavel's Vettaiyan, which featured Rajinikanth. The actor is also set to appear in Nag Ashwin's upcoming sequel to Kalki 2898 AD, alongside Prabhas and Kamal Haasan.
