Bollywood actor Saiyami Kher has been cast alongside superstars Akshay Kumar and Saif Ali Khan in the highly anticipated film Haiwaan, directed by acclaimed filmmaker Priyadarshan, known for iconic comedies like Hera Pheri, Hulchul, Bhool Bhulaiyaa, and Hungama. The film, which commenced shooting in Kochi on August 23, 2025, marks a significant reunion for Kumar and Khan, who last shared the screen in the 2008 action thriller Tashan.

Kher, celebrated for her performances in films such as Mirzya, Choked, Sharmajee Ki Beti, and Ghoomer, expressed profound excitement and gratitude for the opportunity to work with her cinematic idols. “Walking onto the set of Haiwaan has been overwhelming in the most beautiful way,” Kher said in a statement. “As a child, I was captivated by Akshay sir’s action sequences and Saif sir’s effortless comic timing in films that shaped my love for cinema. To now share the frame with them feels surreal.”

Kher also praised Priyadarshan’s visionary storytelling, which inspired her passion for filmmaking. “His films were a big part of why I fell in love with movies, and to be guided by his vision is a privilege I’ll always cherish,” she added. “Being on his set feels like life coming full circle.”
