Smartphone maker Realme has confirmed key camera and feature specifications of its upcoming Realme 16T 5G ahead of its official launch in India on May 22. The device, which will join the Realme 16 series, will be available through Flipkart, Realme’s official India website, and offline retail stores once it goes on sale later this week.
According to details shared by the company, the Realme 16T 5G will feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX852 primary rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture and autofocus support. The camera system will be powered by Realme’s LumaColor image engine, which uses AI-based processing to enhance skin tones, texture detail, and dynamic range for improved photography output.
The smartphone will also introduce a range of AI-powered imaging features, including AI Portrait Glow, which optimises facial lighting in challenging conditions such as low light or backlighting. Users will be able to apply multiple portrait lighting effects, including Flash, Rim Light, Natural Light, and Studio Light. Additional features such as AI Popout Collage, AI StyleMe, and AI Instant Clip aim to expand creative editing options directly on the device.
