The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 trophy reached the IANS headquarters in Noida on Wednesday as part of its official Trophy Tour, igniting excitement ahead of the tournament beginning February 7 across India and Sri Lanka. Staff and visitors were treated to a vibrant welcome featuring traditional dhol beats and energetic dance, adding a distinct desi flavour to the celebration.

The T20 World Cup Trophy, distinct from the ODI World Cup trophy, was crafted by Thomas Lyte in London. Weighing 3.9 kg and standing 51 cm tall, the silver-plated design features five interwoven castings, reflecting the energy, drama, and fast-paced nature of Twenty20 cricket.
