Iran’s military on Friday issued a stark warning to the United States and Israel, stating that their officials and military personnel would not be safe even in public or recreational spaces worldwide. The statement reflects escalating tensions in the region amid ongoing geopolitical conflicts involving Tehran, Washington, and Tel Aviv.
Armed forces spokesman Abolfazl Shekarchi, speaking on state television, said Iran is closely monitoring what he described as “enemy” officials, commanders, and soldiers. He warned that individuals associated with the United States and Israel could be targeted even while travelling or visiting leisure destinations.
“From now on, based on the information we have, promenades, resorts, and tourist and entertainment centres in the world will not be safe for you either,” Shekarchi said in his statement. The remarks signal a widening scope of perceived conflict, extending beyond traditional military zones to civilian and global public spaces.

The warning comes amid heightened tensions in the Middle East, with ongoing hostilities and military exchanges drawing international concern. Analysts note that such statements are likely to further escalate diplomatic strain and raise security concerns for officials and military personnel from the countries mentioned, particularly those travelling abroad.
While no specific incidents were cited in the statement, the rhetoric underscores the volatile security environment and the risk of further escalation. Governments and international agencies are expected to closely monitor developments, as the situation continues to evolve with potential implications for global security and travel safety.
