The Raaja Saab, starring Prabhas, continues its theatrical run with steady collections as it enters its second week in cinemas. The horror-comedy, which released on January 9, has maintained a consistent presence at the box office despite the usual weekday slowdown after a strong opening phase.
On its second Monday (Day 11), The Raaja Saab earned approximately ₹1.15 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. With this addition, the film’s total domestic box office collection has now reached around ₹140.5 crore. By the end of its second weekend, the film had already amassed ₹139.35 crore, underlining its solid performance so far.
Occupancy figures on January 19 indicate moderate but stable audience interest. The film recorded an overall Telugu occupancy rate of 20.04 per cent. Night shows saw the highest footfall at 21.59 per cent, closely followed by evening shows at 21.28 per cent. Afternoon screenings registered 18.50 per cent occupancy, while morning shows stood at 18.80 per cent.

Directed by Maruthi Dasari, The Raaja Saab revolves around an ordinary village man named Raja Saab, portrayed by Prabhas, who lives with his grandmother suffering from Alzheimer’s disease. She firmly believes that her husband will return home after completing an important mission, forming the emotional core of the story.
The narrative takes a dramatic and supernatural turn when Raja Saab encounters a man who bears an uncanny resemblance to his grandfather. Driven by compassion and a desire to ease his grandmother’s suffering, he attempts to reunite the elderly couple, triggering a series of emotional and unexpected events with horror elements woven into the storyline.
Earlier, director Maruthi Dasari revealed that discussions are underway for a sequel. He clarified that The Raaja Saab Part 2 would not continue the same story but feature a fresh narrative within the horror genre. The film’s ensemble cast includes Sanjay Dutt, Nidhhi Agerwal, Malavika Mohanan, Riddhi Kumar, Zarina Wahab, Samuthirakani, Boman Irani, Murali Sharma, VTV Ganesh, and Prabhas Sreenu in key roles.
