The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition, first launched in China in December 2025, is set to make its global debut later this month, ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2026. The premium handset, known for its rotatable Leica-tuned camera module, was recently spotted on the Geekbench benchmarking platform, revealing its key specifications for the international market.
The Geekbench listing, under model number 25128PNA1G, confirms that the handset will be powered by Qualcomm’s flagship Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset. Built on a 3nm process, the octa-core processor features six efficiency cores clocked at 3.63GHz and two performance cores peaking at 4.61GHz, offering high-end performance comparable to its Chinese counterpart.
The benchmark also reveals 16GB of RAM and Android 16, potentially Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3. Performance scores included 1,973 in single precision, 3,322 in half precision, and 4,754 in the quantised test, underlining the device’s capability to handle intensive workloads and advanced AI features.

The Xiaomi 17 Ultra Leica Edition sports a 6.9-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, peak brightness of 1,060 nits, and Dragon Crystal Glass 3 protection. Photography enthusiasts will benefit from the Leica-tuned triple rear camera system: a 50MP primary, 50MP ultrawide, and a 200MP periscope telephoto lens, supported by advanced imaging software.
Battery life is robust with a 6,800mAh cell, featuring 90W wired and 50W wireless fast charging. The device is expected to launch globally in select markets on February 28, alongside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra and Xiaomi 17, bringing Xiaomi’s premium photography and display technology to international consumers.
