Vivo India has officially announced the Indian launch date for its newest V-series smartphones — the Vivo V70 Elite and Vivo V70 — with both models set to debut in the country on February 19, 2026, at 12 pm IST. The company confirmed the announcement through dedicated promotional pages and social media teasers, and stated that both devices will be available for purchase via Flipkart, Amazon and the Vivo India online store.
The Vivo V70 Elite represents a significant upgrade for the brand’s mid-range lineup as the first “Elite” variant in the V-series, powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor. Its companion, the standard Vivo V70, will run on the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset, continuing Vivo’s strategy of offering distinct performance tiers within the same series. Both devices are expected to ship with OriginOS 6 based on Android 16.
Both models share a 6.59-inch 1.5K OLED display with a 120 Hz refresh rate and narrow bezels — reportedly among the slimmest in their price segment at about 1.25 mm. They also carry a large 6,500 mAh battery with 90W fast charging support and are expected to carry IP68 and IP69 dust and water resistance ratings.

Camera performance is a focal point of the new lineup. Both phones are teased to feature a ZEISS-tuned triple rear camera setup, including a 50 MP main sensor with optical image stabilization, a 50 MP telephoto camera with up to 3x optical zoom and an ultra-wide camera. A 50 MP front camera will handle selfies. Emerging reports also suggest advanced AI photography tools such as AI Magic Weather and a regional AI Holi Portrait mode tailored for festive photo capture.
Performance benchmarks for the V70 Elite recently surfaced on Geekbench, indicating scores consistent with Snapdragon 8s-class performance and confirming 12 GB of RAM alongside the expected chipset. Other shared features across both models include LPDDR5X RAM, UFS 4.1 storage, and an under-display 3D ultrasonic fingerprint scanner.
Pricing for the new lineup has not yet been officially revealed, but industry analysts expect the Vivo V70 to target the sub-₹40,000 segment, with the Vivo V70 Elite positioned under ₹50,000 in India. With the February 19 launch now confirmed, Vivo is poised to strengthen its V-series portfolio by blending flagship-level performance, camera capabilities and competitive pricing.
