Google has officially announced the launch date for the Pixel 10a, its next mid-range smartphone, confirming that the device will debut globally, including in India, on February 18. The Pixel 10a will succeed the Pixel 9a, which was introduced in March 2025, and arrives after weeks of leaks and speculation surrounding its design and features.
Alongside the launch confirmation, Google has teased the design of the Pixel 10a, revealing that it closely resembles its predecessor. The smartphone will feature a flat dual rear camera system housed within a horizontal, pill-shaped camera bar, accompanied by a single LED flash. The familiar center-aligned Google logo remains on the back panel, while the front retains thick bezels and a centrally placed hole-punch cutout for the selfie camera.
Google has also highlighted a blue colorway for the Pixel 10a, similar to the Iris shade seen on earlier models. While the company has not yet confirmed all color options, reports suggest the phone may also be available in Berry, Fog, Lavender, and Obsidian finishes, offering consumers multiple aesthetic choices.

The device is also expected to deliver improved photography performance and will include Gemini as a built-in AI assistant, continuing Google’s focus on AI-powered user experiences.
In terms of availability, Google Store subscribers who sign up for updates by 1:29 pm IST on February 13 will be eligible for an exclusive promotional offer. The benefit can be applied to a future purchase after buying the Pixel 10a, though specific details of the offer have not been revealed.
Pricing information has not been officially announced, but reports indicate that the Pixel 10a could start at EUR 549 (approximately Rs. 58,000) for the 128GB variant in European markets, with the 256GB model priced at around EUR 649 (roughly Rs. 69,000). The phone is expected to be offered in 128GB and 256GB storage configurations.
