The Nothing Phone (4a) could become more expensive in India from August 1, according to a new leak shared by tipster Yogesh Brar. The report suggests that the UK-based smartphone brand is preparing to increase the prices of all three storage variants by Rs. 3,000. However, Nothing has not officially confirmed the reported price revision or disclosed the reason behind the expected increase.
As per the leak, the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant of the Nothing Phone (4a) could be priced at Rs. 42,999, while the 8GB + 256GB model may cost Rs. 46,999. The top-end 12GB + 256GB variant is tipped to retail at Rs. 49,999. If the reported price hike comes into effect, buyers planning to purchase the smartphone may consider doing so before August 1 to avoid paying the higher price.
The Nothing Phone (4a) was launched in India in March with a starting price of Rs. 31,999 for the 8GB + 128GB variant, while the 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB models debuted at Rs. 34,999 and Rs. 37,999, respectively. Following previous price revisions, the handset is currently available at Rs. 39,999, Rs. 43,999 and Rs. 46,999 for the three variants. The smartphone is offered in Black, White, Blue and Pink colour options.

The device features a 6.78-inch LTPS flexible AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 4,500 nits peak brightness and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. It is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 chipset, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 256GB of UFS 3.1 storage. Running Android 16-based Nothing OS 4.1, the smartphone is promised to receive three years of Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates.
On the camera front, the Nothing Phone (4a) sports a 50-megapixel primary sensor with optical image stabilisation (OIS), a 50-megapixel periscope telephoto camera with OIS and up to 70x Ultra Zoom, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera. It also includes a 32-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calls. The smartphone supports 5G connectivity, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC and houses a 5,400mAh battery with support for 50W wired fast charging. Until an official announcement is made, the reported price hike remains based on industry speculation.
