Xiaomi has launched the new Xiaomi Clip open-ear wireless earbuds in China alongside the Xiaomi 17 Max smartphone and Smart Band 10 Pro. The newly introduced earbuds feature an open-ear clip-on design, support for LHDC 5.0 high-resolution audio, Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, and up to 38 hours of total battery life with the charging case. Xiaomi has also integrated several AI-powered features into the device, including real-time translation, transcription tools, and conversational voice assistant capabilities.
The Xiaomi Clip earbuds are priced at CNY 849, which is roughly Rs. 12,000, while an introductory launch price of CNY 799, or around Rs. 11,300, is being offered during the initial sales period in China. The earbuds are available in Obsidian Black, Parrot Purple, Pearl White, and Satin Gold color variants. Xiaomi confirmed that the earbuds are being sold through its official website, authorized retail outlets, and major e-commerce platforms across China.
In terms of audio hardware, Xiaomi has equipped the Clip earbuds with 11mm dynamic drivers featuring a microcrystalline metal-coated diaphragm. The earbuds support a frequency response range of 20Hz to 48kHz and carry Hi-Res Audio Wireless certification. Support for LHDC 5.0 audio codec allows compatible devices to deliver higher-quality wireless audio playback. Xiaomi has also included a directional acoustic structure designed to minimize sound leakage and improve privacy during calls and media playback.

The earbuds include a triple-microphone system paired with a VPU bone-conduction microphone for improved call quality in noisy surroundings. Xiaomi says the setup helps isolate human voices from environmental sounds during conversations. AI-powered features integrated into the Xiaomi Earbuds app include live interpretation for lectures and videos, real-time call translation, face-to-face translation tools, voice recording, AI-generated summaries, and transcription support. Users can reportedly control recording functions directly from the charging case itself.
Connectivity features on the Xiaomi Clip include Bluetooth 5.4 support along with AAC, SBC, and LHDC 5.0 codecs. The earbuds support simultaneous dual-device pairing, allowing users to remain connected to two devices at once. Xiaomi has also added compatibility with Apple ecosystem features, including support for Apple’s Find My app to help users locate both the charging case and individual earbuds. Additional tracking features using Xiaomi HyperOS networks and nearby ringtone finder tools are also included.
The Xiaomi Clip earbuds pack a 60mAh battery in each earbud and a 510mAh battery inside the charging case, which charges via a USB Type-C port. Xiaomi claims a 10-minute fast charge can provide up to four hours of playback time. In AAC mode, the earbuds are rated to deliver up to nine hours of music playback on a single charge and up to 38 hours combined with the charging case. Each earbud weighs around 5.5 grams and carries an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, positioning the Xiaomi Clip as a lightweight and feature-rich option in the premium open-ear audio segment.
