The declaration emerged from a comprehensive session of the party's Central Executive Council convened at its central headquarters in Dhaka's Moghbazar locality, presided over by party Ameer Dr. Shafiqur Rahman and attended by key figures including the Nayeb-e-Ameer, secretary general, and other prominent members who deliberated extensively on the evolving political landscape leading up to the critical constitutional referendum and the forthcoming 13th National Parliamentary Election set for February 12, 2026.

Council members voiced profound apprehension based on detailed grassroots reports from multiple districts suggesting that certain government functionaries and local officials are actively extending support and resources to one particular political entity, thereby creating an uneven playing field, while simultaneous accounts of targeted violence—including daylight assaults and fatalities inflicted upon opposition leaders and workers—continue to surface from various parts of the nation.

The party underscored the monumental price paid to dismantle what it characterized as a 16-year era of fascist rule, achieved through relentless struggle and the ultimate sacrifices of nearly 1,500 martyrs alongside more than 30,000 individuals who suffered severe injuries or permanent disabilities, solemnly warning that this newly forged Bangladesh must remain vigilant and resilient against any subversive conspiracies or orchestrated political maneuvers that threaten its hard-earned sovereignty and democratic aspirations.

Separately on the same day, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bangladesh released an official statement conveying deep concern regarding the unfolding crisis in Venezuela in the wake of the United States' military intervention that culminated in the capture of Nicolás Maduro, reiterating the country's unwavering advocacy for peaceful resolution of all inter-state conflicts through sustained diplomacy, constructive dialogue, and strict observance of the foundational principles enshrined in the United Nations Charter and established norms of international law.
