Indian cricketer Kuldeep Yadav is set to marry his childhood friend Vanshika later this month, marking a new chapter in the spinner’s personal life shortly after India’s recent cricketing triumphs. The wedding is scheduled to take place on March 14, 2026, at a resort in Mussoorie, Uttarakhand, with pre-wedding celebrations expected to begin a day earlier.
According to reports, the ceremony will be a relatively private affair attended mainly by close family members and friends. Pre-wedding rituals, including haldi and mehendi, are planned for March 13, ahead of the main wedding event. The scenic hill town of Mussoorie has been chosen as the venue for the intimate ceremony, while a larger reception is planned later in Lucknow.
Kuldeep and Vanshika share a long-standing connection, having known each other since childhood. Both hail from Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, and reportedly grew up living only a few kilometres apart. Over time, their friendship developed into a relationship, culminating in their engagement in June 2025 during a private ceremony in Lucknow attended by family members and close friends.

The couple had initially planned to marry in November 2025, but the date was postponed due to Kuldeep’s international cricket commitments, particularly his inclusion in India’s squad for the 2026 ICC Men’s T20 World Cup. After India’s successful campaign in the tournament earlier this month, the spinner is now preparing for his wedding celebrations.
Following the Mussoorie ceremony, a grand reception is expected to be held in Lucknow on March 17, where several notable figures from Indian cricket, officials from the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), and other guests are likely to attend. The reception will allow the couple to celebrate with a larger circle of well-wishers beyond the intimate wedding gathering.
Kuldeep, widely regarded as one of India’s leading wrist spinners, has been a key member of the national team across formats in recent years. As he prepares to start this new phase in his personal life, fans and fellow cricketers have already begun extending congratulations to the couple ahead of their upcoming wedding.
