Karnataka’s Leader of Opposition, BJP’s R Ashoka, lambasted Chief Minister Siddaramaiah for his scathing remarks against the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), calling it a “guarantee solution” to cling to his CM post. The jab comes after Siddaramaiah criticized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s Independence Day speech, where Modi hailed the RSS as the “world’s biggest NGO.” Siddaramaiah retorted, labeling the RSS as an “unregistered, non-tax-paying, divisive organisation” conspiring to sow discord among Indians.
In a fiery post on X, Ashoka accused Siddaramaiah of using RSS attacks as a political ploy, stating, “It’s not conviction—it’s compulsion. Not ideology—it’s insurance. The BJP leader’s remarks highlight the escalating political tensions in Karnataka, as the opposition seeks to capitalize on the CM’s controversial statements to rally its base.
