Vice-President of India C.P. Radhakrishnan on Saturday addressed the 35th convocation ceremony of the University of Rajasthan in Jaipur, urging graduating students to become job creators and nation builders rather than job seekers. He emphasized that education should serve as a foundation for innovation, ethical conduct, and meaningful contribution to society.
The Vice-President highlighted Rajasthan’s rich cultural heritage, bravery, and historical significance, noting that Jaipur represents a blend of tradition and modern progress. He said the University of Rajasthan has played an important role in shaping generations of thinkers, leaders, and change-makers committed to knowledge, integrity, and public service.
Addressing the graduating students, Radhakrishnan described convocation as both an ending and a new beginning. He encouraged them to apply their education for the betterment of society and stressed that the real value of learning lies in its practical use for innovation and societal development.
