The President’s office shared images of the meeting on X, capturing moments of respect and solidarity. “A group of Veer Naris and widows of fallen soldiers called on President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan,” the post read. The event underscored the nation’s gratitude toward those who lost loved ones in service.
Earlier that day, President Murmu also met Haryana’s newly-appointed Governor, Prof. Ashim Kumar Ghosh, accompanied by his wife, Mitra Ghosh, in a separate courtesy call, further emphasizing her engagement with key figures on this significant day.
