The iconic Taj Mahotsav is back in Agra from February 18 to 27, promising a 10-day extravaganza of India’s rich cultural tapestry. Organised by the Taj Mahotsav Committee under the supervision of the Agra Divisional Commissioner, the festival will take place near the Windham Garden Hotel on Fatehabad Road, adjacent to the Taj Mahal.
Visitors can explore a vibrant showcase of handicrafts, regional cuisines, music, and dance from across India. This year’s edition features nearly 400 artisans, bringing centuries-old Brij Bhumi traditions and other folk and classical art forms to life. Performances will include both folk and classical music and dance, creating a mesmerizing cultural experience for attendees.
Ticketing details have been announced, with adult entry priced at Rs 50 per person and free access for children aged three and below. Foreign visitors can enter without tickets, and schools are offered special concessions—Rs 700 for groups of 50 students, with two accompanying teachers allowed free entry. General tickets cover access to all cultural performances, eliminating the need for separate passes.

The festival also highlights India’s culinary diversity, offering a rich spread of regional delicacies.
