The National Capital Region Transport Corporation (NCRTC) has cleared the detailed project report (DPR) for the ₹15,000-crore Namo Bharat Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) corridor, marking a significant step toward faster connectivity across Gurugram, Faridabad, and Noida. The proposed 61-km high-speed corridor aims to revolutionize regional transit in the NCR.
Construction on the corridor is expected to commence in December 2026, with officials projecting a completion timeline of around 4.5 years. The route will feature six stations in total, including two each in Gurugram and Faridabad, and one each in Noida and Greater Noida, ensuring key NCR hubs are efficiently linked.
The corridor will start from the IFFCO Chowk Namo Bharat station in Gurugram, which also serves as the planned hub for the Delhi-Bawal RRTS line. The alignment will move eastwards, passing through Faridabad’s Bata Chowk and Noida’s Sector-142 before terminating at Surajpur station in Greater Noida. Surajpur will serve as an interchange for the Ghaziabad route and provide connectivity to the Noida International Airport (NIA) at Jewar.

The detailed alignment covers major landmarks and busy corridors, beginning at IFFCO Chowk RRTS station and traveling via Millenium City Centre to Brig Osman Chowk in Gurugram. It will then proceed eastwards through Gwal Pahari, the Faridabad-Gurugram Road (MDR-137), and Hanuman Mandir/Badkhal Enclave before reaching Bata Chowk and Amolik Chowk in Faridabad.
From Faridabad, the train will move along Shaheed Bhagat Singh Marg, cross the BPTP bridge, and head towards Amrita Hospital. The route then follows the FNG Expressway to enter Noida near Sector-168, before proceeding further east into Greater Noida, concluding at Surajpur junction. This alignment ensures accessibility to residential, commercial, and industrial hubs along the corridor.
Once operational, the Namo Bharat corridor is expected to significantly reduce travel time between key NCR cities, provide seamless connectivity to the airport, and enhance overall commuter experience. Officials say the high-speed corridor will serve as a major boost to regional mobility and economic growth in the National Capital Region.
