One person was killed and six others were injured after a speeding SUV crashed into the rear of a tempo on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway near the Missing Link section in the early hours of Friday. The impact was so severe that both vehicles overturned, with the SUV suffering extensive damage. The accident occurred on one of Maharashtra's busiest highways and prompted an emergency response from local authorities and rescue personnel.

According to initial reports, the SUV, identified as a Toyota Fortuner, was travelling at high speed when it rammed into the tempo from behind on the Missing Link stretch of the expressway.
