Chaos erupted in Delhi’s Dwarka area on Monday morning as three prominent schools—Delhi Public School (DPS), Modern Convent School, and Shree Ram World School—received bomb threat emails, sparking widespread panic among students, staff, and parents. The alarming messages prompted immediate evacuation of the school premises as authorities swung into action to ensure safety.
A senior police officer confirmed that the threats were delivered via email, triggering a swift response from multiple agencies. Teams from the Delhi Police, bomb disposal squad, and dog squad descended on the schools to conduct thorough search operations. “We are leaving no stone unturned to ensure the safety of everyone involved,” the officer stated. Meanwhile, cyber teams are working diligently to trace the IP address of the sender to identify the source of the threats.
A senior fire official also confirmed that comprehensive searches are underway at all three schools, with no suspicious items reported so far. The evacuations were carried out efficiently to minimize risk, and parents were notified to collect their children as a precautionary measure. The incident has heightened concerns about school safety in the capital, with authorities urging calm while investigations continue to determine the credibility and origin of the threats.
