Noida, Jul 10 (PTI) A blast occurred at a paint factory in Noida's Sector 8 on Thursday, injuring five workers, a fire official here said.
The incident took place at about 3:30 pm during a process involving a chemical.
The five workers sustained burn injuries and were admitted to hospital. They are out of danger now, Gautam Budhha Nagar's Chief Fire Officer (CFO) Pradeep Kumar Chaubey informed.

"The blast occurred when one of the workers mixed cellulose nitrate (a chemical) in a 30 litre bucket," the Chaubey said.
He further said that the worker might have mixed too much of the chemical, due to which the blast occurred in the bucket and left workers injured. However, the explosion did not lead to any fire incident, the CFO informed.
