Chief of Army Staff General Upendra Dwivedi was inducted into key academic engagements of the United States Army Pacific during his official visit to the United States, where he also reviewed ongoing defence cooperation between the two countries. The visit underscores deepening military ties between India and the US in the Indo-Pacific region.
During his interactions, Gen Dwivedi engaged with senior military leadership and strategic experts, focusing on evolving security challenges, joint operational readiness, and knowledge exchange. His participation in academic forums hosted by USARPAC reflects a growing emphasis on institutional collaboration and shared learning between the two armies.
Officials said the discussions covered a wide range of areas, including joint training exercises, interoperability, defence technology cooperation, and regional security dynamics. The engagements are part of broader efforts to strengthen military-to-military relations under the India-US Comprehensive Global Strategic Partnership.
