Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is gearing up for a high-stakes six-day Singapore tour from July 26 to 31, aiming to lure global investors and catapult the state into an economic powerhouse. This marks Naidu’s second international trip since the TDP-led NDA government took charge, following a successful Davos visit in January.
Naidu’s mission is to pitch ‘Brand AP’ to the world, showcasing Andhra Pradesh’s cutting-edge infrastructure—1,053 km of coastline, top-tier ports, airports, highways, and a skilled workforce. “This visit is all about attracting game-changing investments,” an official release declared. Naidu will meet with CEOs, business tycoons, and global leaders to highlight the state’s investor-friendly policies and ease-of-doing-business reforms.
Kicking off with a Telugu diaspora gathering on day one, Naidu will also invite Singapore’s industrial giants to the ‘Visakhapatnam Investment Summit’ in November. High-profile business roundtables on fintech and the digital economy, plus a dedicated business roadshow, will spotlight Andhra’s potential. Naidu’s itinerary includes tours of Singapore’s world-class infrastructure and logistics hubs, offering inspiration for the state’s growth.
