This isn’t Trump’s first rodeo in the UK. The 76-year-old firebrand, accompanied by First Lady Melania Trump, will make history as the first US president to score a second State Visit, following his 2019 trip hosted by the late Queen Elizabeth II. The invitation, hand-delivered by British Prime Minister Keir Starmer during a February White House meeting, signals a bold move to cement the UK-US "special relationship" amid Trump’s tariff-heavy economic stance.

King Charles and Queen Camilla will welcome the Trumps to their stunning Windsor Castle residence, as Buckingham Palace remains under renovation. Expect a dazzling ceremonial welcome and a lavish state banquet at St. George’s Hall that’s sure to spark headlines. While French President Emmanuel Macron recently addressed Parliament during his Windsor visit, Trump’s trip aligns with the UK’s party conference season, so a Commons speech is unlikely.
