A 26-year-old Nepali woman was allegedly gang-raped in Gurugram, Haryana, prompting a police investigation and the arrest of one suspect. The incident has raised concerns over women’s safety in the city and the vulnerability of migrant workers.

According to police reports, the woman was attacked by multiple individuals in a secluded area. She was able to report the crime promptly, and authorities registered a case under relevant sections of the Indian Penal Code, including provisions for sexual assault and criminal conspiracy.
