A 15-year-old girl was brutally shot dead in northwest Delhi’s Jahangirpuri market on Monday evening, allegedly by her 20-year-old boyfriend, Aryan, police reported. The shocking incident occurred around 8:10 pm in D Block, in front of Dr. KK Mahajan’s clinic, as the victim, a local resident, was with a friend.

According to police, Aryan, also from Jahangirpuri, approached the girl with an associate and fired multiple shots at close range before fleeing. The victim, who sustained several gunshot wounds, was rushed to BJRM Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival. Her body is preserved for a post-mortem examination.

Investigators believe Aryan and the victim were in a relationship, though the motive remains under investigation. “We are scanning CCTV footage and interviewing witnesses to piece together the events,” a police officer stated. A case has been registered at Jahangirpuri police station, and teams are actively pursuing Aryan and his accomplice.
