A brazen attack shook Hoshiarpur district in Punjab on Thursday when two unidentified assailants shot 40-year-old realtor Sandeep Singh Saini inside his office near SBI Bank in Tanda. The attackers, arriving on a motorcycle, entered the premises and fired a single shot, striking Saini in the left side of his stomach before fleeing, according to Station House Officer Gurwinderjit Singh.

Saini, a resident of Urmur, was immediately rushed to the Community Health Centre in Tanda, where he received initial treatment. Due to the severity of his injury, he was later transferred to a hospital in Hoshiarpur for advanced medical care.

Police have launched a thorough investigation to identify the perpetrators and uncover the motive behind the shooting. Authorities are actively pursuing leads to apprehend the suspects, as the incident raises concerns about safety in the region.
