In a chilling incident from Borgam (K) village under Makloor mandal, Nizamabad, a woman allegedly killed her husband in collusion with her lover and staged his death as a heart attack to mislead family and villagers. The shocking revelation came after the deceased’s brother, Kedari, grew suspicious and alerted the police.
The couple, Pallati Ramesh (35) and Soumya (Aruna Latha), had been married for 13 years and had three children. On December 20, 2025, Soumya claimed her husband had died of a heart attack and conducted the funeral hurriedly. Observant villagers noticed unusual cuts on Ramesh’s neck, prompting the complaint to Makloor police.
Following the complaint, authorities exhumed Ramesh’s body on December 24 for a post-mortem, which confirmed that he had been murdered. During interrogation, Soumya confessed that she had plotted the murder with her paramour, Nileshwar Dileep, a PE teacher at a nearby school, and hired a gang to execute the killing.

According to police, the conspiracy had begun earlier in August 2025, when Dileep attempted to kill Ramesh by running him over with a car, but Ramesh survived with minor injuries. Soumya then hatched a new plan, attempting to poison him with sleeping pills before ultimately suffocating him with the help of Dileep and his brother Abhishek.
Authorities have arrested Soumya, Dileep, Abhishek, and several gang members, including Jitender, Keloth Sriram alias Bablu, and Ramavath Rakesh. One accused, Mosin, remains at large. ACP Raja Venkat Reddy confirmed that the investigation is ongoing and further action will be taken against all involved.
This incident has stunned the local community, highlighting a case of betrayal, premeditated murder, and deception that exploited the trust of family members and neighbors, leaving the future of the couple’s three children in uncertainty.
