Shehzad Poonawalla’s decisions as Ultimate Ruler on Rise and Fall Season 2 sent Gautam Gulati and Raj Grover to the basement, triggering heated arguments and fresh tensions among the contestants. The latest episode centred on the “Fall Ka Farmaan” task, in which Shehzad had to decide who would remain in the penthouse and who would move downstairs. With Niharika Tiwari already safe, his choices became the focus of the competition, affecting friendships and alliances within the house.

The decisions unfolded in the Red Room, where Shehzad first chose to save Tej Pratap Yadav. He was then asked to select between two pairs of Rulers seeking to stay upstairs. Raj Grover and Swara Bhasker made their case, but Shehzad decided to send Raj to the basement. He subsequently faced a choice between Gautam Gulati and Irina Rudakova. Despite his friendship with both contestants, he saved Irina and sent Gautam downstairs. The decisions quickly changed the atmosphere in the Tower, with contestants questioning the reasoning behind Shehzad’s choices.

Gautam was visibly unhappy with the outcome and accused Shehzad of acting out of jealousy and insecurity. Tej also questioned the decision, while Swara supported Shehzad. The disagreement placed Gautam and Shehzad’s friendship under pressure. Shehzad later attempted to resolve the issue, telling Gautam that he did not want their relationship to suffer. However, the conversation escalated after Tej made a remark suggesting a possible romantic angle. Shehzad lost his temper and pushed Tej, who responded angrily and said he would not tolerate the disrespect. Gautam tried to calm the situation, explaining that the remark had been made in jest, but the confrontation left tensions unresolved.

The conflict also opened the possibility of new alliances among the contestants. Sara Gurpal suggested that Gautam and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary might find common ground against Shehzad. Meanwhile, the Lift of Judgement task brought another round of elimination nominations. Shehzad nominated Priyanka, who then selected Gautam. Gautam initially nominated Raj but changed his choice to Kaira Anu after she said she did not need anyone’s favour. Kaira subsequently nominated Raj, who selected Sara Gurpal, triggering another argument between Kajal Raghwani and Raj. Sara and Manish Kashyap were eventually declared safe, while the other Workers remained at risk of elimination.

Tensions continued in both the penthouse and the basement. Niharika and Swara clashed after Swara supported Shehzad over his earlier remark to Niharika, prompting Niharika to tell her not to interfere. In the basement, Gautam became uncomfortable after overhearing a late-night conversation between Kajal and Sara and moved his bed outside before being persuaded to return. Kajal and Manish also suggested that Priyanka’s behaviour towards Gautam had changed, leaving him uncertain about her intentions. The episode therefore combined strategic decisions, personal confrontations and nomination battles, further complicating relationships among the contestants.
