Actor and BJP MP Ravi Kishan has reflected on his three-decade-long career in the entertainment industry, saying he believes his purpose is to bring happiness to people through his work. Speaking in a recent interview with Red Ink, the actor looked back on his journey in the Bhojpuri film industry and shared how he views the impact of his performances on audiences across the country.

Recalling the early years of his career, Ravi said he entered the Bhojpuri film industry at a time when the regional cinema was struggling. He credited films such as Saiyaan Hamar, Kanyadaan, and Kab Hoi Gawna Hamar for helping establish him as one of the industry's leading stars. The actor said his success in Bhojpuri cinema marked the beginning of a career that has spanned more than 34 years.

During the interview, Ravi described acting as a way of bringing comfort and joy to viewers. He said that whenever people facing difficulties switch on their television and watch his performances, he feels he has fulfilled his purpose. "God has sent me to take away your pain," the actor remarked, adding that he considers entertaining audiences to be his life's mission.

The actor also recounted an emotional incident from the day of his father's last rites at Manikarnika Ghat. Ravi said that while he was performing the funeral rituals, several people approached him for photographs and selfies. Despite the deeply personal moment, he said he smiled for the pictures after being requested by admirers, highlighting the constant public attention that comes with being a well-known actor.

Ravi continues to remain active in both cinema and public life. He was recently seen on Prime Video's reality web series Alliance and is set to appear in Mirzapur: The Movie. The actor has also received appreciation for his performance in the Netflix film Maa Behen, adding to a career that spans multiple film industries and genres.
