Actor Rashmika Mandanna has confirmed that she suffered a tendon detachment injury in her right hip while shooting for her upcoming film "Mysaa", revealing that it was her third injury in a row. The actor shared details about her health condition on social media on Monday evening, explaining the reason behind her recent absence from public appearances and work-related activities. In an Instagram post, Mandanna said the injury occurred some time ago during the filming of a dance sequence for "Mysaa".
She explained that one of the tendons connecting her right hip to her leg became detached while she was performing the sequence. The actor said she had initially hoped that the injury would remain private but decided to share an update with her fans after reports about her recovery period began circulating. "Injuries suck.. and I was really hoping that no one will get to know.. but well... Sorry I've been MIA but hieeee! I'm hereeee!" Mandanna wrote in her post.
She added that the injury was her third consecutive one and acknowledged the need to take better care of her health. The actor said she needed to treat her body more carefully instead of pushing it as if it were a machine. Reports earlier suggested that Mandanna had been advised six weeks of complete rest along with a structured rehabilitation programme following the injury.
