Rajinikanth’s action-packed Coolie has stormed past the ₹500 crore mark at the worldwide box office, cementing its place as a cinematic juggernaut. Directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, known for hits like Vikram and Master, the film hit theatres on August 14 and raked in an impressive ₹151 crore on its opening day alone.
According to Sacnilk, Coolie has now amassed ₹504 crore globally, with ₹327 crore from India’s domestic market. In this high-octane drama, Rajinikanth plays a fearless coolie taking on a ruthless syndicate exploiting workers in a port town.
The film boasts a stellar cast, including Soubin Shahir, Upendra, Shruti Haasan, Sathyaraj, and Nagarjuna as the menacing villain, with Aamir Khan making a buzzworthy cameo.
