Zendaya has addressed the viral wedding pictures of her and Tom Holland that have been circulating online, confirming that they were entirely AI-generated. Speaking on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, the actress explained that many fans were fooled by the images, congratulating her on a wedding that never actually took place. “I was just out and about in life and people are like, ‘Your wedding was gorgeous,’ and I am like, babe, they’re AI, it’s not real,” she said.
The rumors appear to have been sparked by Zendaya’s recent appearance at Paris Fashion Week 2026, where she attended the Louis Vuitton Women’s Fall/Winter 2026-2027 show. A gold band on her left ring finger in many viral photos led to speculation that she and Holland had secretly tied the knot. Further attention was drawn when celebrity stylist Law Roach jokingly told Access Hollywood, “The wedding has already happened… You missed it,” a comment that quickly went viral online.
Zendaya clarified that the images and rumors were false, emphasizing that no wedding had taken place. She also noted the playful confusion some fans had, with a few apparently surprised they hadn’t been invited to the supposed event. The actress’s statement puts to rest widespread online speculation fueled by AI-generated content and social media buzz.

The couple’s engagement, however, is real and has been public since January last year. Tom Holland’s father, Dominic Holland, shared details of the proposal on his Patreon account, explaining that Tom had carefully planned the moment, speaking with Zendaya’s father and preparing everything thoughtfully. Zendaya confirmed the engagement publicly when she appeared at the Golden Globes 2025 wearing a 5-carat diamond ring.
Holland and Zendaya have frequently spoken about their relationship in interviews. Holland described their bond warmly, saying, “I’m lucky that I have someone like Zendaya in my life. You can share your experiences and all that sort of stuff — and that’s worth its weight in gold.” The couple first starred together in Spider-Man: Homecoming, followed by Far From Home and No Way Home. They are slated to reunite in Spider-Man: Brand New Day as well as Christopher Nolan’s upcoming film The Odyssey.
While fans continue to celebrate the couple’s relationship online, Zendaya’s clarification serves as a reminder of the increasing role of AI-generated imagery in shaping viral celebrity narratives.
