Spider-Man: Brand New Day, starring Tom Holland and Zendaya, continues its strong run at the global box office, showing no signs of slowing down after a blockbuster opening. The Marvel superhero film has delivered another impressive performance in India, taking its three-day net collection close to the Rs 180 crore mark and crossing the Rs 200 crore milestone in gross earnings. Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, the film has emerged as one of the biggest theatrical releases of the year, attracting audiences across multiple languages.
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Spider-Man: Brand New Day earned an estimated Rs 66.75 crore nett on its third day in India. The film had opened with Rs 60.6 crore on Day 1, followed by Rs 49.35 crore on Day 2. With the latest figures, the movie's total India nett collection stands at around Rs 176.70 crore, while its India gross collection has reached approximately Rs 211.27 crore. Strong occupancy levels and audience response have helped the film maintain momentum through its opening weekend.
The English version has contributed the largest share of the film's earnings in India, collecting Rs 38.35 crore on Day 3, followed by the Hindi version with Rs 21.75 crore. The Tamil version added Rs 3.75 crore, while the Telugu version contributed Rs 2.75 crore. The film was screened across 17,703 shows in India on Saturday and recorded an overall 69.67 per cent occupancy for its English 3D screenings. Major markets such as Mumbai and Bengaluru also witnessed strong audience turnout, with Bengaluru recording higher occupancy levels.

The Marvel release has also created a major impact in international markets, particularly North America. Sony Pictures confirmed that Spider-Man: Brand New Day delivered a record-breaking $168 million opening day from 4,487 locations across North America, marking the biggest opening day in the history of the Spider-Man franchise and Sony Pictures. The film surpassed the previous record of $157.4 million held by Avengers: Endgame in 2019.
With projections suggesting a global opening weekend collection between $325 million and $358 million, Spider-Man: Brand New Day is now being compared with some of the biggest Marvel releases. Industry estimates indicate that the film could challenge major box office records, although Sony has maintained a more conservative opening weekend projection. The film has also faced competition from recent releases, including Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey and Vijay's Jana Nayagan, but has managed to maintain a strong position at the box office.
Directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, Spider-Man: Brand New Day features Tom Holland, Zendaya, Jacob Batalon, Mark Ruffalo, Jon Bernthal, Sadie Sink and Tramell Tillman.
