Actor and professional racer Ajith Kumar recently added a new electric vehicle to his collection by purchasing the Mahindra BE 6, an electric SUV inspired by Formula E technology. The car is produced by Mahindra Electric and represents one of the company’s latest entries in the premium electric SUV segment in India. Ajith reportedly selected the Tango Red colour option of the vehicle, which stands out with its sporty design and bold styling. The Formula E-inspired SUV is capable of reaching a top speed of around 202 km/h, reflecting its performance-oriented engineering despite being an electric vehicle.

Before taking delivery of the SUV, Ajith visited the Shree Saibaba Sansthan Temple to seek blessings. A video shared by the temple’s official Instagram page showed the actor arriving at the temple premises accompanied by his team and security personnel. In the video, Ajith is seen entering the temple, offering prayers, and spending some time interacting with the temple authorities. As part of the customary welcome, the officials presented him with a Sai Baba idol and a ceremonial shawl, and the actor also posed for photographs with them after completing his darshan.

After the temple visit, Ajith headed to the showroom to receive his new electric SUV. Photos and videos shared online showed the actor standing beside the Mahindra BE 6 during the delivery ceremony, where he also cut a cake to celebrate the occasion. According to the official pricing listed on the company’s website, the FE2 variant of the Mahindra BE 6 is priced at approximately ₹23.69 lakh, while the FE3 variant, which comes with additional features and upgrades, costs around ₹24.49 lakh.

The purchase comes shortly after Ajith returned to India following a brief stay in Dubai, where he had reportedly been stranded for some time due to rising tensions in West Asia involving the United States, Israel, and Iran that had disrupted international travel routes. After safely returning home, the actor resumed his normal schedule, which included his temple visit and the delivery of the new vehicle.
